9 months old...

Its almost hard to believe that Cy is already 9 months old. He is growing up so much, he still has quite the personality and some days I am still trying to adjust to it. ;) He has lots of happy moments and lots of unhappy moments still. And to me it seem like they are mostly unhappy, but then again I am with him 24/7. But honestly, some days are better then others for both me and him. He still loves his brother, and his brother loves him... most days. :)

He is still crawling all over the place and I think he really wants to learn how to walk. So that he can get around better with his brother. :) But then again I think he would really like to walk so that he can get around better and follow me more. It seems every time I am in the kitchen trying to wash dishes or cook or clean he is always right at my feet trying to pull himself up to me. Or if I get on the floor trying to take a picture I get this...

him bound and determined to climb up me for me to pick him up. What can I say I guess he just can't get enough of me. I am sure that will only last for so long. :) And of course if I move him and try to get away for just a minute I usually get this reaction out of him...

I think he may end up with my temper, NOT a good thing. :) I am just so glad that at the end of the day I get lots and lots of smiles from him and I am able to smile myself. Cause he does that for me. Here are just a few cute pictures of him...

Sittin in the bathroom sink waiting for me to get all the bath stuff ready, and also just so I could get a picture. His BIG, BLUE eyes! I am sure he was on his way to getting to me in this picture. :)

And of course his worried, old man face. :) Still only has his 2 bottom teeth. But the top 2 are breaking thru as well as another bottom one. Lets just hope they all come in soon. Cause he is NOT a good teether.

Touch A Truck...

Last Saturday I really wanted to get out of the house to do something. So i looked on the Internet to see if there was anything fun to do, that Ryken would enjoy. I found out there was this "touch a truck" thing going on in Glendale. So we decided to make plans to go to it. And at first I wasn't so glad we did go. Ryken was a major stinker! But he eventually warmed up and wanted to actually get in some of the things they had there. But it did help that his cousin was there and getting into them too. :)

The first thing we saw was the Oscar Meyer wienermobile. Ryken was not to excited to get into a big hotdog looking vehicle. But eventually he made is way in.

He also got a wiener whistle to take home with him, and of course to use to annoy me. :)

There were also a few fire trucks there and he got a chance to check out a few of them. I think his favorite one was the Glendale fire truck. He was wanting to climb all over in it.

He loved to get to sit in the front of the vehicles and "drive" them. :)

There was also this cool pink firetruck. It was a breast cancer awareness one. And the fire fighter was even wearing pink fire suit. It was pretty cool too cause you could sign it too. Ryken loved all the firetrucks there but I think one of the favorites of both him and Justin was the SWAT truck, I am pretty sure it was called "The Bear".

And it was fun to get to tell Ryken that Daddy drives this truck at work. :)

And again he loved climbing around all over in this one too. So we made our way out the top to see what and who we could see. :)

Ryken in the drivers seat AGAIN. :) All full of smiles. He also got to sit up in a big rig. Wish we would of told him to pull the horn on this one. :)

It was a fun all around trip for the day. Even though Justin had just had surgery a few days before he made his way out with us using his crutches. And we brought Cy with us too of course and it was a little hard for him since it was nap time and we weren't home for it. He was a little tired looking...

Don't you agree? But he also started to not feel well that day either. But we made it thru the fun outing to see all the fun trucks for the day.

8 months...

My little guy is growing up. :( It makes me sad to think how much time has already gone by since he has been born. Its crazy to think that his first birthday is just around the corner. Cy is still one cute little baby! I can't seem to get enough squeezing of him done thru out the day. It is a darn good thing he is so cute and squeezable, cause he has caused me some headaches. :) But he is worth everything to me. He still seems to want to put anything and everything into his mouth. Which Ryken never really did much of.

Here he is trying to squish a little basketball in his mouth. :) This ball now has major teeth marks in it left from his 2 little teeth. He hasn't gotten anymore yet. He is also full of lots of funny faces. he still loves to stick out his tongue too.

See seriously could you not just squeeze this funny faced little boy. :) Cy also LOVES to jump. If you have ever held him you know what I am talking about. As soon as he is standing up on your lap he is jumping away. I don't know why he loves it so much but he does.

I figured he would like the johnny jumper since he likes to jump so much but its not a big hit with him. That is unless Ryken is around running back and forth by him. Then he goes crazy and jumps all over the place. Cy is also SO ticklish. I think you can tickle him anywhere and he laughs and giggles and gives his big mouth grin.

Tickling him is one of my favorite things to do cause it makes him laugh, which of course makes me laugh too. :) Cy really is a fun happy baby as long as someone is constantly around him. And when someone isn't around he can now come and find you. He is crawling all over the place now days. It is a good thing and a bad thing. Good cause he now gets around and it kinda helps with him being fussy, bad cause sometimes it doesn't help and instead he just crawls around and cries too. And good cause he has fun finding new stuff to play with. Especially Ryken's cars...

but that only usually happens when Ryken is napping, otherwise it is a bad thing cause then Ryken is not happy. :) Also a bad reason is cause he is going to be a baby that gets into everything. 1st major thing he got into was the dogs food and water...

Atleast he didn't eat it... YET. He is also pullin himself up on stuff. I think he really just wants to walk so he can get around with his brother.

And before I know it he will be up and walking, and then running around with his brother. Man I wish I could keep him small forever. Atleast I know he will be my Cy guy forever. :)

New family pics...

I decided I wanted to get some new family pictures done, cause the last ones we had gotten done before we did our Christmas card was when Cy was only a month old. So we went and got them done at good ol' Jc Penny again. And they turned out okay but probably would have been alot better if I wasn't in them. Oh and if Cy was smiling. :)

But there were some that I figured were good enough to get.

I think Ryken may of had the most fun of all...

Cause he laughed at everything the photographer said and did, Justin just smiled and probably wanted to roll his eyes too. :)All my handsome boys that I love so much. :)

I am pretty happy we decided to go get them done, cause it is always fun to look back and see how much we all have changed... Well how fun it is to see how Ryken and Cy have changed. :)

6 and 7 months...

The time has flown by again pretty darn fast. The past 2 months seem to have gone by pretty fast at least. :) So fast I never got around to posting for Cy's 6th month and now he is 7 months old. SO i just decided to make one post of both.

Cy is a pretty happy baby for the most part. He still has his moments where he will only be happy when he is being held by someone. Which does make things hard sometimes. But we all get by. :) He still has some issues with eating but is getting a little better. He just doesn't like to eat the fruits cause they seem to make his acid reflux worse. So we have stuck with the veggies for now. He is pretty much sleeping thru the night finally and started doing better about it when he turned 6 months old. He does still have one late night bottle before he sleeps all the way thru. He doesn't like to take many naps and when he does they are not very long, or maybe not as long as I would like them to be. :) He loves to play pat-a-cake and peek-a-boo. He is also VERY ticklish. Which makes it fun to get him to laugh, and we all LOVE to hear him laugh. He is a pro at sitting up now and he seems to want to move on to the next stage and crawl but hasn't gotten to that point yet. He now has 2 teeth on the bottom, more coming in here soon I am pretty sure.

His cute little smile makes me smile and melts my heart too.

He still loves to stick out his tongue, and even more now that he has gotten some teeth.

Loves his brother Ryken, and always is watching him. And Ryken loves to make Cy laugh. :)

7 months old and now getting better at the all 4's thing, but still no crawling.

Check out his 2 chompers. And his big blue eyes. Man I just want to squeeze him sometimes. :)

Pulled out the wipes and was chewing on one, he likes to do that and also chew on the wash cloth during bath time. :)

It is still so crazy that he is already 7 months old. He is for sure a different baby then his brother was but it is fun getting to know his personality too.

Christmas 2009

We had a pretty darn good Christmas this year. Justin was able to take the day off, so we stayed home this year and just had to wait that morning for him to get home to open our presents. Good thing Ryken wasn't into ripping open all the gifts right when he woke up, but I am sure next year he will be. :) He was so fun to watch this year, cause he actually loved opening his presents and knew how to. And of course he wanted to "help" everyone else open theirs. And we were all okay with that, until next year when Cy may have a problem with it. :) The boys both got lots of fun stuff this year.

A little bounce house!! Ryken was a little scared to get in at first, so I had to climb in and he followed. And after he was in he was there for a good 40 mins. He LOVED it.

Cy wasn't as into it as Ryken was, but he was into checking it all out. :)

We also went over to Justin's parents that day and enjoyed opening a few presents over there and having a yummy lunch too! I wanted to try and get a little family picture and this was the best we got...

It is hard to get a good one with such little wiggle worms. :) and this was the best I could get of the 2 of the boys together...

And boy do they look scared. LOL! We had a great Christmas this year. Ryken was pretty sad when it was all over, he asked to open more presents when he woke up the next morning. And now that the Christmas tree is down he had also asked a few times where his Christmas tree went. I was so glad that he enjoyed it so much this year and I am looking forward to all the years to come to be able to to teach him all about the real meaning of Christmas! I am so thankful for the reason that we celebrate Christmas, and the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. No better reason then him to have such a wonderful celebration.
