Halloween 2010

We had a pretty fun Halloween this year. It is alot funner as an adult when you have a kid or more then one to dress up. :) This year our little guys were a Dinosaur and a Shark...

Ryken LOVED his costume! He is into Dinosaurs right now. And when we bought the costume he wanted to wear the head right after we bought it. SO he wore it around the mall that day. :) So he had no issues with wanting to put it back on and put on the rest of it too.

Cy on the other hand didn't like his costume at all! He hated it from the minute we were trying to get him dressed... He is only happy in this picture cause I was holding him, and even then he wasn't really even happy.

Our few attempts at getting a picture of both boys together in their costumes, and you can really tell how much Cy was not having it. :)
Once we got to the church building for our wards trunk or treat he seemed to be ok with having it on, cause he got to run around and he didn't even seem to remember he had it on.

See... cute little shark right?

Before the trunk or treat they had some little games for the kids to play.
Ryken played the cake walk a few times until he finally won a cookie on his 3rd try.

Cy was pretty much OBSESSED with the basketball game. He wanted to play it the whole time we were over there. And he didn't want to wait till it was his turn. SO he put up a pretty good fight till we finally got up for his turn.

Wishing he knew how to Hula Hoop. :)

Standing in line waiting for the costume parade.
Since I handed out candy during the trunk or treat we didn't get any pics of the boys going. They had tons of fun though. :)

Dino ready to head home. :)

On Halloween we were invited over to Justin's sisters house to have dinner and do some trick or treating in her neighborhood.

Mommy, Daddy and their dinosaur and shark. :)

Dark picture but its of Tristan, Cy and Ryken at one of the many houses they went to, waiting for the candy. :) All the boys had tons of fun. Cy was so funny once he realized he got some candy when he went to the door. He walked right up with the older boys and waiting for his piece of candy. Then he gave it to me to put into his bucket. :)

Ryken showin off all his loot.

And little shark Cy enjoying a few pieces of his candy.
We sure did have a fun time this year. The boys got way to much candy, and now that means I have to much candy to eat too. Maybe I should just toss some of it out. :)

Mother Nature's Farm...

We got the chance to go back to Mother Nature's Farm again this year to pick up a pumpkin and for the boys to get to enjoy some fun at the little pumpkin patch and the farm too. Justin's sister Jessica and her 2 boys came with us as well as Justin's parents. So it was great to have more there to enjoy it with.

They have this cute pumpkin sign that the kids can stand by every year to see how much they have grown over the year.

Here was Ryken and he has grown a little since last year, I should of tried to get the other picture from last year up to compare. :)

And this year Cy got a chance too. And he was so excited about it. :)

Cy LOVED getting to run around outside so much!

My 2 little loves...and some pumpkins. :)

Ryken and his cousin Tristan posing on the tractor...

Cy and Kase getting their turn. :)

They all loved the little chickens. And of course Cy was the crazy one that kept sticking his fingers in the cage. So glad that he didn't get his finger pecked to hard.

They have some animals on the farm that you can see and if you can get them to come close enough touch them too. :) One of the pigs there had just had little piglets the day before. Here is one of them that the guy picked up and brought over for us to see. It was SO cute.

And here was the momma pig and some of the other piglets. She had 11 of them!

Ryken and Tristan trying to make their way thru the hay maze. They really enjoyed this and went a few times thru it.

Ryken picking out his little pumpkin...

And Cy with his. Ok this picture is horrible but he wouldn't hold still to get a good one. As soon as he picked up the pumpkin he threw it right down like it was a little ball. So this was mid through kinda of. :)

Deciding what letters to put on his pumpkin. I am pretty sure he used all of them. He LOVES letters...crazy boy! :)

Decorating away. :)
It was lots of fun getting out with family to do something fun. I love when we get to do stuff like this. I just wish it was more fall like weather around here. My poor boys are going to sweat like crazy in their Halloween costumes!

WAY BEHIND...

So this guy that I LOVE tons, and I am crazy about him (and sometimes he makes me go crazy) :) well he had a Birthday awhile back. Yep awhile back, well how about a little over a month ago! Well yes I am way behind and now I am trying to get back on track. Well for his birthday I was wanting to try and do something fun and different since he was turning the big 30! But I didn't get to plan anything like that cause of all our crazy mishaps at the new house. Oh well! I did do something different though... I made him an apple pie! He loves apple pie so I got adventuious and made one. He said it was good. Here it is with a huge slice missing cause he couldn't wait till we sang happy birthday that night. :)

We got out to dinner on his birthday with us and the boys and his sister and her family. It was lots of fun! And after dinner we came home to open presents.

Got himself a new shirt and a new DVD. :) Oh and that yummy apple pie. :)

Ryken and I decorated his car for him too. I wanted him to be all embarrassed to drive it to work. I think it may have worked. :)

That weekend we also got to go out to dinner with our best buddies the Lee's. We ALWAYS have tons of fun with them.

Me and the Birthday boy!!

Gina and Kameron

I am so glad we have them as friends! They really are the best. So bummed we both moved recently and now we live even farther apart!! That better not stop us from getting to see them though. :) (I'm sure it won't since we have some of their furniture. ) :)

Me and Gina. ( I really shouldn't take pictures with my cute friends anymore. They make me look that much worse. )
Justin's parents watched the boys for us when we went out. So when we got back home he opened the present from his parents. He got a really nice Golf Polo.

Being a cheeseball showin it off. :)

I can't help but love my hubby!! Happy LATE 30th Birthday!! XOXO!

Picture time...

We finally went and got the boys pictures taken. They both had birthdays in June, got the pictures taken in July, and I am finally posting them at the beginning of September... just a little behind. Cy finally has his 1 year pics and Ryken has his 3 year ones. So ENJOY the cuteness of our boys. :)

Cy wasn't a big fan of gettin his picture taken. But I expected that. Ryken on the other hand was enjoyin every minute of it. He has always been that way for the most part. :) I am was pleased with what we were able to get out of both of them. I just love getting to look back and see how much they have grown year after year.

Fun filled family weekends...

We got out of the heat the last 2 weekends to go up north and spend time with some of my family. And we had tons of fun! The first weekend we went up for the 24th of July celebrations in Snowflake. And of course it was lots of fun and I hope we can get up there every year especially as the boys get older so they can enjoy it more too. :) We had lots of fun with fireworks that my parents had gotten. Ryken had his first sparkler experience and He LOVED it. Hopefully he isn't going to be some kind of phyro.

Then we got to sit and watch the annual parade. Ryken is older now that he actually likes it more since he can run out to get candy. But he still needs to work on that a little more. :) Thank goodness for awesome cousins that helped him get some of his own, and shared theirs with him too.

Ryken was also nice enough to share a sucker with Cy. It was his first sucker, and I am sure it won't be his last. Cause he LOVED it. :)

And Ryken got an otter pop at the parade too, and enjoyed breakin it open right then to eat it.

That weekend we also got to watch some good fireworks in Taylor. It took awhile to get them started cause we waited around the church parking lot for close to an hour and half probably. Which isn't much fun with a crazy 3 year old and a crazy fussy 1 year old. But once the fireworks started it was a little easier to control them. And of course we got to spend great time with family.

Then the following weekend we went up to Vernon to have our annual Baker family campout /reunion. We had to go up on Saturday cause of Justin's work schedule, and that was kinda stinky cause it rained the whole way up basically. And once we got to the campsite it rained that whole night. So we never got our tent up. We drove back to my parents house and stayed there and in the morning headed back up to the campsite. The boys still had lots of fun. And all I can say is Cy is all BOY! He loved being outside and playing in the rain and dirt. Ryken even enjoyed it too. Thanks to all his cousins. We brought up a little horse shoe set for the kids to play...

And of course we had to have some bubbles to keep the kids busy...

Coloring was another kid activity...

And Ryken wanted to do some flips. :) So Justin passed the time playin with the boys and helping with the flips.

Our camping family. :)

Ryken and his cousin Cordd. Best buddies!

OH and the kids found a pile of ashes my dad had gotten out of the fire, and decided it was funner to play in that then the dirt. :)

Us adults passed the time by playin cards and snacking away.

The boys were so pooped by the end of the campout. WE had a great time like always but I just wish we had actually gotten to camp! Oh well there is always next year. And hopefully then it won't rain the whole time. :)
