37 weeks and a few days. : )

We went to our Dr. appointment on Thursday and we found out that we are making progress already. The Dr. said I am dilated to a 2, just about a 3. So maybe we will have a baby here a little earlier than expected. I know I can stay at this stage for awhile but Ryken came at 38 weeks so we are very curious of when this little guy is going to make his appearance. I was hoping that my Dr would be here to do the delivery but of course he is going on vacation the 1st week of June which is when I will be 38 weeks. So we will see if he gets to deliver this little guy since he also was gone when we had Ryken. Man he needs to stop taking vacation when I am having my babies! : ) I am kinda hoping the baby will just stick it out a little longer inside so that I can still get a little more ready, and try and prepare myself a little more in realizing that I am going to be a mom to another little guy. 2 kids! It still makes me freak out a little and I know I really don't have any more time to freak out.

Having a little fun...

I wanted to get out on Monday and try and have a little bit of fun with Ryken and Justin before our new little guy gets here. I was hoping to find something that Ryken would enjoy doing. And I think we succeeded in finding the place. He had a great time and so did we. : ) And it was a pretty cheap little trip since I had found a coupon online to use for the holiday. Made it even better. : ) We went to Desert Breeze Railroad park in Chandler. Ryken has enjoyed riding the train at the other parks we had been to so we figured he would like this one too. And we figured right.
Here was a little snap shot of the boys waiting for the train to start. : ) We rode it about 4 times I think and it was a hit every time. Even though it really doesn't look like he enjoyed it by these pictures I promise he did. Since we had never been to this park before I didn't really know what to expect. They had a great play area with lots of different slides and things to play on. And Ryken had lots of fun there too.

He was all smiles on every slide, and every time he went down them. It was so great to get to see him so happy while he just played his little heart out. And just like the other parks we had been to there was also a little carousel for him, and us to ride on. Not sure it was the best idea for me since it was kinda faster than the others and I seemed to get a little more dizzy on it since I am alot bigger now days. : )See I told you I was alot bigger. : ) He loved the giraffe and was patting it and then was also excited to ride on the rooster with daddy's help. We had a great time at this park and we will probably try to get back there again since we all enjoyed it. They even have a little splash pad area that the kids can get wet in since its getting hotter out. But we didn't know that and hadn't brought a swimsuit for him. But maybe next time. Just had to add this cute little picture of him in his little sunglasses. We were pretty surprised that he kept them on so well. I just think he looks so adorable in them especially with is little ear flipped down a little bit. Makes me smile. : ) And we are still counting down the days till our new addition will be here. Hopefully sooner than later.

Will I make it?

I am not sure if I will make it these next 4 weeks. I can't believe we are already down to 4 weeks till our due date, and down to the last 4 weeks until we will meet our little guy. There is a part of me that wishes that I had like 2 more months left. Cause I really am not sure I will survive handling 2 little boys. Or maybe I am just afraid I won't be able to handle at least one of them, the one named Ryken. : ) He has been such a stinker lately. Part of me is thinking maybe he is starting to understand that he isn't going to be the only little guy around here pretty soon. Or maybe its just the whole Terrible Two's thing. Whatever it is, we are not enjoying it at all! The other part of me is wanting to be done with this pregnancy cause now that its getting to the end I am just so uncomfortable. I can't sleep, all I want to do is still eat, my feet are starting to swell up by the end of the day, my back has this horrible pain shooting down it whenever I seem to get up to walk. Well the list just seems to go on and on. So it sure is a toss up now days on if I really want our little guy to get here early or maybe just stay in his comfy spot for awhile longer. : ) Only time will tell what he has in mind.
Until then I guess I need to constantly have my camera out. Cause the only thing that seems to make Ryken happy lately is him getting his picture taken by us. : ) He gets all excited and says "CHEESE" when you get the camera out. Then of course he has to look at the picture you took and then points to himself and says "Ry" (that's how he says his name, can't get down the ken part. : ) ) Here are a few snap shots we got the last few days...

Ryken, me and my fat face getting ready to leave the house and had to take a picture in our shades. : ) We can't believe that he like to wear these or even that he will leave them on but he does. Here he is being his adorable little self when he isn't throwing his tantrums or whining about basically nothing. We made some yummy smoothies and he got one of his own. And boy did he enjoy it. Can't you tell he enjoyed it? LOL! He looks pretty scary in this pic and pretty trashy with his smoothie all over his face, but still looks really cute too. How can that be?I had to add this picture of his little feet. He wears flip flops almost everyday of the week, and has the tan lines to prove it. : )

34 weeks...

We had our 34 week check up at the Dr's office. And we got to see the little guy with an ultrasound of course. : ) It was great to see him and know that everything is going great! He is measuring a little bigger , the tech said about 5 days ahead of schedule. So maybe he will be early like his big brother was. (some days I am hoping he is early, others I wish I had a while longer) She said he is weighing about 5 pounds 4 ounces. Everything is looking good, and even better is that the fibroid I have isn't growing much. THANK GOODNESS! So the Dr said there isn't anything he is worried about when it comes to the fibroid. YAY!

Here is one of the pics that the tech took. I had to take a picture of it with my camera so its not the best. Plus it wasn't the best in the first place. : ) If you know what you are looking at you probably can make it all out. If not then sorry it probably just looks like a big blob. He is covering up his face a little with one of his hands. I guess looking at him on ultrasound and looking at Ryken the tech thinks that they are going to look similar. Great news for me cause I think Ryken is one of the cutest!! Either way I am sure I will be in LOVE with our new little guy too!

And of course here is a big belly pic of me. I feel HUGE! I seriously feel like I am bigger now than I was when I had Ryken. But I think and hope I can make it. : ) Its not helping that its getting so hot so fast this summer. Wishing I had a pool, that I could lounge in and not have to scare others with my prego belly. : )

Married...

My little brother Deak got married on Saturday! He married the sweetest and cutest girl. Welcome to our crazy family Emily. We love you guys both, and are so happy for you.

Aren't they such a cute couple?Deak isn't so cute in this picture but oh well I still had to post it, cause it was the only one I got with Ryken and them. : )My wonderful parents with the newly wed couple. :) And of course I had to post a few cute pics of Ryken too from that night. :)

He LOVED the swing set and slide that was in Emily's parents backyard. He was so excited to swing on the big kid swing and loved the slide too if you couldn't tell by his huge smile. Deak and Emily have a reception later this month so I am sure there will be more fun pictures to post of that too. As long as we make it to the reception and not have our little guy come before then. : )
